Purchases are made online including financing. Once the deal is approved, the buyer takes their receipt to the tower, gets a large coin and drops in in the slot. The car is deposited in one of two delivery ports and driven away.

I can't imagine buying a used car like this, but Shirley and I witnessed one being "dispensed" Thursday evening when we went to see the tower.

I can't imagine buying a car this way, either. Unless I'd been to a dealer previously and driven a model. I've seen this add quite a few times on TV, but wondered whether anyone can make a profit, much less stay in business doing it this way.
