Added note: Georgia allowed voting by 18 yr old folks beginning in 1943. It was the first state to lower voting age. Kentucky was second in 1955. The 26th amendment was passed in 1971 after Ted Kennedy suggested it in 1965.

Yeah, I got that question wrong. I had to wait until I was 21, and that's all I know.
