Heartbreaking,terrifying,chilling and most depressingly compelling! Reading this was paramount to observing a "train wreck"!

Many of those entries bring back memories of nurses in the children's hospitals that my daughter frequented. I saw many younger nurses break down when a child in their care died. It was very common to see them burn out and not at all unusual to see the deceased's family members comforting the medical staff.

Tending to the critically ill is a very heart rending task and keeping emotions in check can only be done by a very few.
I saw a lot of stories on the news where nurses were saying that the hardest times were arranging face time with the family. Almost unbearable.
