Ever wonder what the F1-F7 keys on the top of your keyboard are for? After reading this tutorial, you will know what they are for, and how to set them up. You can assign some of the sites you visit most often to an F-Key, and the next time you want to visit that site, all you have to do is push the FKey that you assigned that site to. Like for example say you visit Image Magick alot. You can assign that site to one of your F-Keys. Say you put it on F2. Then anytime you want to visit image magick in the future, all you have to do is push your F2 button, and you are there.
2) After you do that, go and open the folder where the site is saved.
3) Now look on the sidebar, and click on the "organize" option.
4) The next page will list several more options. Choose the one that says "Shortcuts".
5) The next page will list all the sites that you have saved in that folder, and to the right, you will see a little box.
6) Click the box beside the site, that you want to put onto an F-Key.
7) Then you will come to a page that lists all your F-Keys. (F1-F7), and it will show what sites you have assigned to each one, if any. You can save over any of these sites, or choose a blank one.
8) Just click the button, (F1-F7), to assign it to an FKey, then click "done".
9) The next page will show what Fkey you have assigned it to. If it is okay, click "done".
10) Now you have that site saved on that FKey! Next time you wanna visit that site, just push that FKey button.
I have a special folder, that I named "FKeys". In that folder, is where I save the sites that I want to assign to an FKey.
After I have assigned it to an F-Key, I then go in and rename the site.
Example: I have my transloader on my F7 key. After I assigned it to that key, I went in and renamed it to "F7 Transloader".
That way when I go into my F-Keys folder, it lists in alphabetical order what I have on each F-Key...(also good in case you forget!)
