Density will make your text "heavier" or bolder looking - the stroke size will increase the size (thickness) of the stroke. I left all as they were in this example. Later you will be able to play with those features - depending on the fonts you use-some look better with different coords. This is how I did the violets:

1. Click on Decorate - left 15x15+3+3 as it was. Backspaced through the grey and put in #8E68CD for my first color. Left the radio button on "frame". Click on "decorate".

2. Click on decorate at the top again. When the screen pops up with your framed image, put in your second color - backspacing through what's there (left it at 15x15+3+3)- and I put in #76B075 - click on decorate

3. Click on decorate at the top again. 3rd color - I put in #3E2489 - (again leaving everything else as it was) click on decorate.

Now you have a triple framed image.

4.Now click on Annotate - I want the "Happy" to be about the center-RIGHT of the "violets" - on the right (east) so I clicked on the "East" and then put in +60+0. The "60" moves the starting point to the left from the east. (For the west - it would move it to the right). Then I put in my color #8E68CD in both boxes (fill and stroke). In the text box I wrote "Happy" and picked out "Hancock" for the text. I left it at size 24. Then I clicked on annotate.

5. For Spring - I wanted it down and bigger. Left the colors the way they were, changed the size to 30. I left the +60 there because I wanted it to start the same place as Happy. But not written over Happy -- so the coords were +60+40 (The 40 moves it down from the +0 starting point).Click annotate.

Then I was satisfied - so clicked on Output and on the next screen, clicked "pg" - went down to quality and backspaced out the 75 and entered 30. (You can use other numbers - this one just works well for me.) This will cut your byte size down - then went up and clicked on the button. And d/l my image.

SIMPLE ANNOTATING

In this one, I took the plain tag and simply I put both words in at one time like this:

Happy Spring Not on the same line since I wanted one under the other - a bit closer together & annotated it. You can annotate or frame first unless you want your text on part of the frame - in which case you need to frame first.

In the one at the bottom, I used the green color #76B075 - made the pt. size 30 - the density 80 and put the coords in (at Southeast) for +40+70

Then I went down to the box that says "rotate" - backspaced the 0.0 out and put in -25%.

If I'd wanted it slanted the other way, I would have put in 25% (no minus mark) And you see the result below at the top of this page.

THE SHADOWBOX LOOK

And one last style - the shadowbox look. For this I simply clicked decorate and on "sunken" - didn't change anything else - once I got the image sunken - then I clicked on decorate and stuck in my light blue color - left the coords as is - and got one frame around the shadowbox.
