Meet Becky

1. When did you first go on line?

Well, I have been on and off line since 1992. I started with a computer. Then in 2001 I got my first LBB and I have never looked back.

2. Did you start with MSNTV?

I only have my LBB and I don't see a computer in my future. I really have no need for one. Actually, my knowledge has increased since I became a "webbie"

3. What is your passion on line?

I have three passions, actually. 1) Doing gradtable art and teaching it, whenever possible. 2) Building web pages for the enjoyment of others. 3) Imaging Art

4. What led you into your passion....who was your mentor?

The very first person to encourage me in my pursuit of knowledge was Geri. I started out by building web pages. Then I stumbled upon Doc's NG. I received an overwhelming welcome and Sally was my one-on-one teacher. She patiently worked with me. Paulie was my cheerleader and the rest, as they say, is history. Flo, peaked my interest in art imaging. All of this is on going learning, which I enjoy so much.

5. What got you started ?

I saw all the wonderful web sites and all the things that could be done, so, I decided that this was for me. There is so much help out there.

6. How did you learn?

I went to a lot help web sites and Newsgroups. I asked questions until I understood. I may have been a pest, in those days, lol

7.What advice would give someone who would like to learn how?

Ask, ask, ask. There are so many people who are more than willing to help. This is a wonderful community. I would not be where I am today, without the help of these people.

8. What, in your opinion, is the hardest part ?

I would have to say that gradtables is the hardest part. You are actually working with nothing to make something. Some of the most beautiful art that I have seen has been done with gradtables. True gradtable art has no images involved. It takes a bit of imagination.

9. What new endeavors are you persuing?

I would love to get a group of people together and form a "teaching newsgroup". Strictly a question and answer group about how to make full use of the LBB. There are so many out there with specific knowledge and so many out there who want to learn.

10. What's the funniest or most embarrassing incident that you remember about being on MSNTV ?

This one incident has never left my memory. I was doing a special "links" page, with info on how to do everything. I had Sally's link there. Her website is called Simply Sally and what did I type in but Simple Sally. I was never so embarrassed in my entire life. There is definitely nothing simple about Sally, LOL
