When did you first go on line?
That's a tough question... i am thinking its around 1998 or 99
Did you start with MSNTV?
Yes and it was called WebTv back then lol !
Do you now have a PC and MSNTV ?
We have whats called a LAN (local area network) at home. A network of 3 computers linked together and all with broadband internet access. But i still have my lbb, and always will.
Which do you use most?
Both about the same really. I write code on the pc cuz i can work on as many pages as i want at once and save them to the pc. When they are ready i upload them to my site. For e-mail i use the lbb, only half a dozen ppl even know my pc addy, and my mom is not even one of them. I also play scrabble with the lbb. It is another of my hobbies, and im very good at it lol. and of course table art is for the webtv only, it is the soul reason i learned html in the first place (-:
5. What is your passion on line?
HTML... once i saw it and understood how it worked... i was hooked and have been since.
What led you into your passion....who was your mentor?
I stumbled onto an audioscope NG one day and was amazed by what i saw. There was one poster there that had a help site, so i guess those tutes led me here.
What got you started ?
Probably the same as most of us.. Email sigs. Somebody mailed me once with a sig in his mail and i wanted to see how it was done.
How did you learn?
I bought the book "HTML for Dummies" lol. No joke i did for real (-: That and a LOT of sourcing.
What advice would give someone who would like to learn how?
Buy the book (-: between that and reading tutes you would be suprised how fast you learn. And lurk the NG's they are a valuable source of info.
What, in your opinion, is the hardest part ?
Just getting started is the hardest. Understanding how pages are read and rendered, the tags and the basic stuff. Once you get that, the rest makes sense.
What new endeavors are you persuing?
Quite a few actually. My main focus is table art, thats what i love to do. So im working on an elevator that works. A maze with no walls where you drop into invisible holes that send you back, in JS that just wont seem to work right )-: (and probably never will lol) I want to learn perl.. but who's got the time. And i want to set up the GD library and a php server so i can make even more cheesy animations. but again.. who's got the time )-:
What's the funniest or most embarrassing incident that you remember about being on MSNTV ?
I can't tell you that.. it's too embarrasing lol.
