"INVISIBLE" SCOPES |
|
NOTE: There is no autoplay sound on this page, so you can "see" the inisible scopes when you click on a song. Remember to use your Options key to stop the sound, so you can see the next invisible scope.
The scopes here are derived from scopes created by many people. Credit is given when known. Textarea boxes contain the codes for each scope.
We can really make scopes be invisible? Sure. It's all in how you construct them and the colors used. There are many ways to make scopes seem invisible. Some truly are invisible until the music starts. Others may look like lines or bars, until the music starts.

|
One method: If you make the left and right colors the same as the page's bgcolor, in this case black, and the scope bgcolor different, you will not see the scope lines until the music plays.

Striperman gets credit for this idea. Leave out one of the offsets, either the left or the right. Each one will give you a different effect. See Striperman's page for his scopes. The following scopes are Flo's adaptation of this idea. Use Options to stop previous song.

First set of scopes has no leftoffset.
Second set has no rightoffset.

Visible invisible scopes: You actually do see the scopes here, but until the music starts you'll think these are some horizontal red lines. Use Options to stop previous song.

This scope style is courtesy of Carolyn Ruback, and is invisible as to it's being an audioscope instead of a straight line. There are actually 2 scopes, one above the other. When the music starts, they give an almost 3-D effect. Use Options to stop previous song.

This scope "picture" was inspired by some scopes by Table Doc. Until the music starts playing, this looks like it might be a picture of railroad tracks. Use Options to stop previous song.
